How to Insert Chemical Structures in Zoho Writer

Overview  

You can use the Zoho ChemStudio extension in Writer to insert chemical structures that you’ve drawn in ChemStudio directly into your document as images. This helps you create professional documents without switching between tools.

Prerequisites  

You must have access to both Zoho Writer and Zoho ChemStudio.
The ChemStudio extension must be installed in Zoho Writer.

How to use the ChemStudio extension  

  1. Open your document in Zoho Writer.
  2. Click the Extensions icon in the right panel of the editor.
  3. Select the Zoho ChemStudio extension from the list.


  4. In the ChemStudio editor window that opens, draw a new structure or import one from your files.
  5. Click Insert to add the structure to your Writer document as an image.



Additional Note  

Currently, analytical data (such as molecular properties, IUPAC names, or reaction analyses) is viewable and printable, but cannot be inserted or edited inside Zoho Writer.
