Quickstart overview

The Quickstart page guides you on how to get started with Apptics quickly. You can get started by adding application IDs within the project, navigate to some of the core modules in Apptics, access our guides, and manage project and org members from here.

The first thing you need to do is to create a project and add an app in the Apptics web console. Once the project is created, you can start adding the application IDs of your apps to the project and complete the SDK integration steps. If you are yet to complete the SDK integration steps or add more apps to the project, you can do it from Quickstart.

Note: Only the org admin can create a project in the organization.

Add application IDs from Quickstart

  1. Navigate to Developer > Quickstart. Click on the platform for which you want to add an application ID.

  1. Add the Application ID and select the environment. It helps to differentiate the data under the development environment or production environment.
  2. Add a Nickname (optional) and provide the URL scheme (optional) for Apple apps.


  1. Click on Register App.
  2. Download the configuration file and follow the steps as given in the UI to integrate Apptics SDK with your app.

  1. Once you have integrated the Apptics SDK and your app has established communication with the Apptics server, click Continue to Console. You will be redirected back to the Quickstart page.

  1. Click on the settings icon to continue with the SDK integration set up for the application ID. 
  1. Click on edit icon if you want to add/edit a nickname or URL scheme(for Apple apps only).

  1. You can now continue from where you left off and complete SDK integration steps as given in the UI to start receiving data for the app.

Managing app configurations

You can add a new application ID, edit the Nickname and URL scheme of the app, and delete application IDs from Quickstart. (You can also find all the configuration files for each application ID under Project settings.) 
Notes
Note: Adding, editing, and deleting application IDs are role-based actions in a project. Only the org admin, project manager, development lead, and developers can perform these actions by default.
With the help of quick links in Quickstart, you can access our resources, manage org/project members, and navigate to some modules within the Apptics console.

  2. We have also added links redirecting you to some of individual features pages in the Apptics console.
  3. You can also view options to manage organization, manage project members, and view project info from Quickstart according to your roles and privileges.
