How to turn off chat history in Cliq?

You can turn off chat history to prevent your messages from being saved and communicate off the record. You can follow the steps below to turn off chat history:

 

  1. Click on the three dots icon in the chat window and select Turn off history.

 

 

  1. Once you click on the option, a notification message will be displayed in the chat  — You have opted NOT to save conversation for this chat.

 

  1. Now, the messages will disappear once they are seen.


Notes

Note:

  • Admins can disable the Turn off history feature in the Admin Panel for all the users. Refer to our Organization Policy for more information.

  • The Turn off history (Secret chat) feature is only available in Cliq's Professional and Enterprise plan.

  • You can Turn on history in the Kebab menu in the chat.
