Article Widgets in Zoho Learn

Zoho Learn's Widgets feature allows you to enhance your articles by embedding audio, video, and PDF files directly from your device. You can adjust the size and dimensions of the widget, making your content more interactive and engaging for your readers. 

Adding video files to articles

To add video files to articles:

      1. Open the article editor.
      2. Click the Widgets  in the top menu.
      3. Click Show Widget Options.

      4. Choose Video.


      5. Choose a video file from your device.
      6. Click Upload.

Adding audio files to articles

To add audio files to an article:

      1. Open the article editor.
      2. Click the Widgets in the top menu.
      3. Click Show Widgets Option.
      4. Select Audio.

      5. Choose an audio file from your device.
      6. Click Upload.

Adding PDF files to articles

You can choose to add PDF files if you want users to interact with the PDF (scroll, read) without leaving the article.

To add PDF files to articles:

      1. Open the article editor.
      2. Click the Widgets  in the top menu.
      3. Click Show Widgets Option.
      4. Select PDF Viewer.

      5. Choose a PDF file from your device.
      6. Click Upload.

Resizing widgets in articles

After adding an audio, video, or PDF widget to an article, you can resize it to better fit your content layout and improve readability.

To resize a widget:

  1. Click on the inserted widget within the article editor.
  2. Use the resize handles around the widget to adjust its width and height.
  3. Drag the handles inward or outward until the widget fits your preferred dimensions.
  4. Click outside the widget to apply and save the changes.

Double-click the widget inside the article editor to interact with the embedded content (such as playing audio or video, or scrolling through a PDF).
