When do listings become unclaimed?
Having a presence on key listing sites is essential for businesses to be discovered by customers. However, listings can become unclaimed in the following cases:
Opting out:
If you manually
opt out of a listing site, the listing becomes unclaimed. This might happen if you prefer managing it yourself or feel the listing doesn’t align with your industry.

Important: Opting out is usually not recommended, as it can lead to duplicate listings and potential misrepresentation of your business.
Subscription Ends:
If you don’t renew your professional plan subscription, Zoho Publish stops managing your listings. Only the Google Business Profile, supported under the free plan, will remain active.
What happens to unclaimed listings?
The listing will no longer be managed by Zoho Publish, making it possible for anyone to edit, manage, or claim. If you resubscribe or opt in again, we will attempt to reclaim the listing, though it’s not always guaranteed. If reclaiming is unsuccessful, a new listing will be created and managed.
