Car Care: Creating Amazing Appointment Scheduling Sites

Car Care: Creating Amazing Appointment Scheduling Sites

Just like every other business today, establishments in car care need a presence on the internet even to stay in business, sometimes.

This is because most prospective customers turn to the internet to look for information on services that they require. In this scenario, the ones that are visible to the customers the most will be the ones that keep getting customers as time goes.

A fantastic appointment scheduling site will help get ahead of those competing with you on the web and ensure that information about you and your business stay easily visible and accessible to these customers who are crucial to the growth and success of your business.

In this guide, we shall show you how to build yourself an amazing appointment scheduling site with Zoho Bookings without spending much effort and time behind it.

Do you really need an attractive appointment scheduling site for your company?

The first thing that your clients will see when they search for details about your business is your online presence. In today’s digital world, most of your competition will also have the same and they will be competing with you to gain new customers on the internet.

Therefore, it is essential to make a strong initial impression using a rather attractive and competent website. While businesses used to deal only with regular advertising forms, today, when appointments are being booked on the web, this is an additional field for which attention needs to be dedicated.

With the design options available at Zoho Bookings, let us show your customers how to create a wonderful booking page that is right with your website.

Certain rules and guidelines need to be followed while doing this. But why?

Every industry will have an online design built in a certain style. You will notice that there will be various similarities in the way their websites are designed if you take many organizations in the same industry.

The design language plays an essential part in visually conveying an organization's characteristics. Those are the colors which most strongly relate to this industry.

For instance, white, green and blue are most used by medical companies on their websites. Similarly, a similar color scheme must always be included on websites.

Furthermore, when you have an excellent booking site to build confidence, your customers will think your service is excellent. A well-designed web page will show that you have taken the effort of creating such an appearance, which will surely impress your customers.

Be it Makeup Artists, Accountants, Psychiatrists or anything else for that matter, having an attractive and good-looking appointment scheduling website can only work wonders for your business.

This guide gives an overview of what you need to know when designing your scheduling appointment page in your industry. If you need directions covering every step of the process, we have a guide made for that very purpose.

All right, so, how should you go about making an appointment scheduling site?

All the details your client needs to know before scheduling an appointment with your establishment should appear on your booking page. It should contain all the necessary information and it should be easy and convenient to reserve a slot.

If you have a website, the design and styling of the booking page should not differ greatly from your website either because it will then look odd to have visually different styles.

The background image of your booking page should also be simple and clear to the customer to be understood easily. This leaves the booking page more overwhelmed and the clients won't have a nice experience if they have to strain and waste too much time on your website to schedule an appointment.

After designing your page from top to bottom, we recommend replicating your scheduling process so that you can find even the finer details that you might not need on the booking page. This will definitely improve your customers' online booking experience.

The best place to start is your background image.

We recommend you check car care websites on the internet before we start with it. Among all of them you will see some similarities.

The first one will be to have images of their establishment on the website on all the good ones. This is key to building an attractive booking page to show customers. The images of your services are enchanting for websites in your industry and provide excellent marketing material for your business.

It would also be excellent if you had any photos from your property on your booking page. You may always get some from websites such as Unsplash if you are unable to find any. More information is provided on how to get images for you background on the guide that we had mentioned earlier.

The color scheme that you will be using should also influence the background image of your booking page. You can pick a color scheme directly from a website for your company. Look at your website and answer this question in some colors: which colors are most used on your company's web site?

If you get at least two colors from your website, we recommend you to adopt this color scheme on your background. If you do not have a website, you can pick a color scheme that you think is appropriate for your page after referring to other websites in your industry. You can keep these colors in mind while looking for background pictures so that the images can match with everything else on the site.

This will ensure that your website and booking page are similarly done and it will appear to be very uniform when customers transition from the website to the booking page.

Just make sure that image that you use on your background does not have too many details or elements on it as it can make the text that will appear on top of it harder to be read. Also, if you need to put the logo of your establishment on the background image itself, you will need to use other third-party graphic editing applications to do so.

What about the other things on your site, then?

From the previous part of the process, we have a color scheme that we need to apply on other parts of your booking page.

Now that we have completed the design of our background image as well, we have mainly four areas in which you have to add the colors of your booking page: Background Color, Text Color, Button Color and Button Text Color.

Be sure that the color you add is in strong contrast to the layer behind each region when adding color to each field. It enables the element and backdrop to be optimally visible.

This applies especially to the text on the page, as it contains information your clients need to understand before booking a time slot from the site. You can test various colors from your color scheme on your text and choose the one most legible to you. If you do not find such a color, you can still go black or white, because these color do not look out of place when put together with any other color especially for text. Keeping similar instructions in mind, keep trying out different combinations on the page and settle for one that you think is the best.

The text on your site is probably the most powerful part.

The text above the buttons is the place where you can keep some punchy one-liners for your page. You can also use the same space to inform the customers of anything that they may need to know about before booking the time slots.

Remember that since the text is situated above the buttons, you can count on them to read it before going over the buttons. If you think that the space given for the text is insufficient, you can edit the background to contain a small amount of information besides this with other graphic editing tools.

When you have finalized every edit, we strongly advise you to check the editing by clicking the Go To button at the very end of workspace settings and checking your booking page for a live preview. You can then adjust the design as you can continue to change and edit various parts of the booking page.

Is that everything that you need to do? Not quite!

You should have your booking page reviewed by someone after it has been completed. Often, we are carried away with our design so that we sometimes add certain elements to our product that are unnecessary or irrelevant.

Consequently, you must receive feedback from people you trust, such as colleagues, friends and family, who can evaluate your work and provide suggestions that could improve your booking page. Once you have completed your booking page, receive feedback from your customers as well so that they can suggest improvements that may be essential to them.

This act not only provides you with information you can use to improve your services, but also gives clients a sense of comfort when requested, because it makes them feel good when they learn that their feedback in service quality is important by you. This will help you to achieve their loyalty to your establishment and services on a long-term basis.
