  Ran into something pretty perplexing that I haven't been able to find solutions for online.  I set up a workflow that triggers when a field is updated to a certain value. After futile hours of trying to debug this, I realized this inexplicable thing. The workflow actually does trigger properly when I manually update the field to the required value.
