Here's what we've enhanced in Product Configurator and Guided Selling of CPQ

We’re thrilled to share a few exciting enhancements in Zoho CRM CPQ features that are set to make your quoting process more intuitive and efficient.

Enhancements in Product Configurator

1. Multi-select option for Actions

Imagine configuring products with ease—no more repetitive steps when applying multiple actions. You can now select multiple records simultaneously in the action panel instead of adding them one by one. This reduces repetitive steps and improves efficiency when configuring multiple actions.

2. Duplicate check for mandatory and suggested products  

To prevent duplicate product entries in line items, a new ‘Check for Duplicates’ option has been introduced:

• You can configure duplicate detection based on the Product Name or additional fields.
  
  
  
• If a duplicate is found, users can choose to:
  i. Overwrite the manually added item with rule-based values while keeping user-defined data intact.
  ii. Skip adding the product if it already exists in the line items.
  
  
• For Suggested Actions, duplicate suggestions will simply be hidden.
  

Enhancements in Guided Selling

1. Create Guided Selling for custom modules

We’re expanding the capabilities of Guided Selling to support custom modules, giving you even more flexibility in shaping your sales process. When setting up a guided selling flow, you can now incorporate your custom modules alongside inventory modules and select specific lookup fields directly from subforms. 

2. Support for multiple lookup fields

When creating a quote, if guided selling flows are available for multiple lookup fields within the same subform, the system streamlines access by listing the guided selling for the first lookup field in the “Add via Guided Selling” dropdown below the subform, along with an icon beside the lookup field.

For additional lookup fields, the guided selling options are easily accessible via their respective icons, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.

These enhancements are being released in a phased manner. They are currently available for AU, JP, and CN data centers, and are expected to be rolled out for other DCs in a week's time.
