Place and Log Calls from Zoho CRM Mobile App
Hi,
We would like to place telephone calls directly from the Zoho CRM Mobile App, so that:
- If the call is related to a Lead, the call log shows the lead it is associated to (in the "Related To" column); and
- If the call is related to a Deal, the call log shows the deal it is associated to (in the "Related To" column); and
- The app forces the user to fill the mandatory fields of the call (specifically, the field "Call Purpose", which we made mandatory).
We tried this by going to the Lead in the app and clicking the mobile number in the "Details" section. That effectively places the call, asks the user if they would like to log the call when the call ends, and logs the call as associated to the Lead. This accomplishes point 1 above, but not point 3, as it does not force the user to fill the mandatory fields.
We also tried to go to the Deal in the app, then clicking on "Open Calls" to log a new call. This way, we can log the call, it gets associated to the Deal (as required in point 2 above), the user is forced to fill all mandatory fields (as required in point 3 above). However, the app does not place the actual call automatically (which would be very useful).
Any ideias?
