Community Discussion Highlights:
Quick Wins:
CRM Migration Tip:
One of the community members shared their experience migrating from Pipedrive to Zoho CRM. While most data transferred smoothly, emails linked to Deals, Contacts and Customers were initially missing. The issue was resolved by connecting the mail account using IMAP, which successfully synced and linked the emails. Read the full post for more details and join the conversation.
Mail Merge & Subforms : Formatting Fixes!
@Damien T was working on pulling subform data into merge documents but ran into two issues: the header text wasn't appearing, and the subform values were splitting into separate lines instead of a displaying in a clean table format. Thankfully, @Bhoomi Joshi stepped in and clarified how to set up the template correctly so that the subform data aligns properly, keeping the rows and headers intact. Check out the solution shared in this post.
Dev's Corner:
Ensuring Mandatory File Uploads During Blueprint Transitions in Zoho CRM:Making file uploads mandatory during Blueprint transitions is essential for processes that require document verification. @MD shared code for a dynamic widget to handle this, while @Haiku Technical Support provided a workaround using client-side scripting to make file upload fields mandatory on the edit page. Both solutions can be used to ensure files are properly added at the right steps. Check out the full post for practical tips and detailed guidance!
Overcoming Client Script Permission Limits in Zoho CRM: @Tiru
posted about facing permission limits with Client Scripts in Zoho CRM,
which can sometimes hinder automation efforts. In response, community
members @Haiku Technical Support and @Rodger shared helpful explanations
and practical advice to better understand and navigate these script
limitations. If you’ve encountered similar issues or want to learn how
to work around them, this discussion is a great read!
