Calculating sum of numeric values in a subform
Hi, I'm having difficulties calculating the sum and average of numeric values in a subform. I have a subform named Assessment_Scores and want to average all of the scores in the subform to be viewed on the main form. I've tried using a formula field, however, my expression isn't working. I tried using Assessment_Scores.sum(Assessment_Score) and that didn't work. Any suggestions?
Pivot Table column with
Hi, I started to use the Pivot Table and I have some problems in the column size, I used the pdf export with automatic size and with A4 and this below the result. The first problem I saw is the column size that seems to e random "carico" is two time "scarico" The alignment is sometime to left and sometime to right Is it possible to adapt it in some way? REST API
I wish to use my Zoho Creator database to deliver data for a content management system (CMS) web site. So, I wish to use an API to get data from the database and I'm writing the web side of things using PHP (or similar). Apparently, there were speed issues with the REST API. So: 1) What API should I use for my CMS system? 2) How do I make API calls from PHP scripts (the documented API calls don't work)? 3) Have the speed issues with the REST API been sorted?

Why can't I share apps
ZC embedded forms do not display in FireFox 11
All of our embedded forms have this problem: In Firefox 11, the page with the embedded form loads, and the title of the form is displayed in blue, with nothing beneath it - just white space. No data can be entered, and no part of the form other than the title can be viewed. This is causing significant errors for us. I have checked to see if the embed code has been updated in some way, but the current embed code is what I am using for our embedded forms. All display without a problem in Chrome and
IOS Creator Issues
GREAT october 12 update, its fixed lots of issues! I found three issues so far. 1. You cannot disable a lookup field, it still lets me edit the data in it even though its disabled via "On add" or "On Edit" 2. The Users field type shows up as a signature field on IOS. 3. Stateless form infinite loop
I have a stateless form with a lookup field. When I choose an item from the lookup the corresponding record is fetched and some other fields on the form are populated with the fetched data. This works correctly. However if I set a value for the lookup in the On Load section it then goes into an infinite loop. As an experiment I added a radio button that selects a value for the lookup. Email addresses listed
I need to have email addresses listed on a page, but to protect these email address I scramble them. However, I do not know how to use that code within Zoho creator. Basically I want the display to look like: Email so and so: Click Here How do I do that? I the URL field but of course it did not work because that is not its purpose. Any ideas?
Printing Creator forms
I love the Creator program, I put together a quick little program to create purchase order requests. The only problem I'm having is in being able to print the form correctly. The only way to print is to go into edit mode. As I add more records, the printed output becomes less usable, as other records appear above the record I want to print. check records on import for duplicates
I want to make sure when I import from an external file or from another form that i do not duplicate records. I do not want it to stop the import, i just want it to skip the ones that are duplicates, does that make sense?
Inventory Turnover Calculation
My Creator experience is very limited, but I have created an Inventory Management database and input data using the form "File Input Form". The important fields for this discussion would be "Warehouse Arrival Date", "Consumed Date" and "Status of Inventory". Hi, newbie/free user here -- This seems like a popular question, but I can't find a solution that quite matches what I need. Still confused, hoping for help. I want to use Zoho to manage my contacts, and keep an equivalent/periodically updated .xls on my desktop. HTML view to PDF conversion slowdown
Hi! We are using Zoho Creator's HTML view to PDF conversion functionality in a daily basis, but in the last week or so we have noticed, that it slowed down a lot. For debugging reasons I created a simple TestPage, that contains only 10 character and it took 70 seconds (!!!) to download it through direct URL. Formula field showing up as text field in pivot table report
Hi, I created a form that has formula fields in a previous application and generated a pivot table report which displayed those fields as sum fields. When I copied the application and added another formula field, it shows up as a text field instead of a number field as the other formula fields do. How can I correct this?

Reporting on data entered into both a form and subform
Hi, I am struggling with something which seems pretty basic... I have a main form 'Booking' (parent item) and a subform 'Booked_Item' (child items). Each Booking may contain several Booked_Item's. I can easily enter details into both form and subform - this works very well. What I am struggling to do is produce a simple grid which includes one column for each field entered into both the Booking Form and Booked Item Subform. iOS app issues
On the iOS app when selecting dates, the date field is populated with a the date of the day before the one I select. This does not happen with the android App for me. Thanks in advance!
Zoho Creator App - Show Lookup Selection on Load (Not "X option selected")
Can you change the app so it shows the lookup selection when the lookup is scripted with an on load formula? You have to select the lookup to see what is selected. Picture below is taken with newest creator version on IOS. Our employees are having to select the lookup to verify the default value.

I am trying to add a calculated formula field to achieve the number of days between two dates. I can get the number of days but my answer has two decimal places and I dont want any. Can anyone help? I am finding the calculated formulas very difficult to understand and the "help" pages seem to require a certain amount of prior knowledge on the subject to begin with which i just don't have!
Signature field not showing on PDF
I created a Record Summary for a form with a signature field. When I view the record the signature shows. However when I click on the PDF button the record summary shows but the signature image does not display. The same happens when I include the record summary as a pdf in an email.
Zoho Creator - Calendar View
Hi All, Is there anyway of word wrapping the value used in Calendar View? At the moment, each entry in the calendar is shown like "Spray Crops fo...." and some how I need this to be longer and not truncated. Hi All, I'm having a small issue with Subforms where I need to allow only certain users to be able to add information to the contained dropdown lists. This is difficult to describe so here's what I'm refering to: Is there some way I can show or hide these Add buttons? I thought that setting permissions for the Subform would solve this but not that I can figure out. I'm probably missing something obvious. Many thanks!
Disabled search function on report
Hi everybody, I don't want to allow my users to use search function on report. My report are filtered and i want to show only restricted record and not the entire list of my records. I notice that a user can use search function on report to show the entire list. getting "unable to connect to messaging server" message
I just signed up for a new account and am trying to setup a little database. When I clicked on "configure on click actions" to go to the Deluge scripts to try to make a timestamp field I got this "unable to connect to messaging server" message. Field permission settings not functions properly
Are certain field types unable to be truly set to Read Only in Field Permissions? Using Field Permissions for a specific profile, I have set a number of fields in a form to Read Only. However, users with the specified role can still edit specified Radio fields and Date fields even though they have been set to Read Only. Single Line Text fields and Dropdown fields I set to Read Only in Field Permissions are not editable by the profile (behaving as expected). Therefore, I know I have set up the Module
