Creating a field selector based on the value of another field
I have fields A, B and C of which A is a drop down with possible values X or Y. I want both fields B and C to stay hidden when the form starts up. If A = X, then I want field B to show up and accept an entry. If A = Y then I want field C to show up and accept an entry. I tried this but it is not working.. For field B and C, I have "hide fieldB" and "hide fieldC" For Field A, I have if (input.fieldA == "X") { show fieldB; enable fieldB;
Import to Subform does not work with lookup fields
I am trying to import data to a main form with subform information. I have an excel spreasheet with 2 tabs. The first one with the form name with all the fields (form: Distris Elite y Premier) The last column is the subform ID field. On the second tab i have all the fields filled in with data (form: Contacto de la empresa) And a column called REC LINK ID with numbers that doesn't repeated. I seem to have forgotten (or never knew) how to declare a variable as float or decimal. If I use the following statement: invoice_total = 0; and then go on to use this local variable as follows: invoice_total = invoice_total + (sales_invoice_item_record.Unit_Price * sales_invoice_item_record.Quantity); the app builder tells me the variable, 'invoice_total' is defined as BIGINT and incompatible with the other fields in the statement which are both defined as decimal in the form. Hi, I have one application that has a user with id without the email.com in it. e.g. "name1" Now I added another user but it is not able to log in without adding the whole email. e.g. It doesn't work with "name2" It asks for "name2@gmail.com" as the user id.

Getting Full Page Data Added Successfully Message
One of my forms gets a full page "Data Added Successfully" message. The normal little pop-up message displays briefly and then my data form is replaced by a display that is nothing but the words "Data Added Successfully!". What is it and how do I stop it? My data form is a standard data form with nothing in the "go to URL".
How to show Calendar View depending on User Type

Question about creating a VBS registration form
I've created a form for parents to register their children for Vacation Bible School (VBS). Here's the problem - some have more than 1 child to register (some have 4 or 5) & I'd like for them to not have to fill out an entire new form for each child. A lot of the info will be the same for each child (parent name, address, phone #, etc.). If I just add extra spaces on the original form, then new fields (columns) are created in the database. I'd like them to be seperate entries in the database.
How to rehide a field when a user deselects a checkbox
Hi everyone, I mastered the show field for checkbox selection earlier today (thanks to Herb) using the contains function. But need to ensure that when a user deselects a checkbox, the data is cleared from the field and the field hides again. I have tried notContains later in the script, so the system checks if the checkbox is clear, but it causes errors. I have also tried isnull, but cannot get this work. Any help would be appreciated. Hi! I'm very new and on the trial run for this program. So far, I like it very much, but I've run into a catch. Editing Records from Reports don't link to base Form (since about 30 Minutes)
I've been working on a Creator application for the past couple of days and all of a sudden things don't work as they used to (since about 30 Minutes). Previously, when I clicked on the Edit button in the left-most column of a Report, the original base Form would appear with all the fields and all the validation logic, etc. Now what I'm getting is a dialog box with just the fields from the report. I have rexported the application and diff'ed it to an older copy, but I can't find any difference that

Is there a way to replicate a user in Zoho Creator? My users are running into errors here and there and it's difficult to troubleshoot without seeing it first hand. I've asked for their password and have logged in using their UID and PW but one would think there would be a more elegant solution designed into the system. Any ideas are welcome.
Permission integration between customer portal and creator
Hi - I am using the customer portal with creator Now i have realised it appears there is no real integration of permissions between creator and the customer portal. ie. The Customer Portal permissions that are set are applicable to ALL users, whereas the permissions that are set in Creator can be different for every user so my questions are; 1. is my interpretation correct? 2. is there a workaround so that different permissions can be assigned to different users if using the customer portal? 3.

Scroll bar in drop-down list

Hello. I would like when I submit something (e.g a lookup dropdown) then the form to keep as default value the last record. What I mean, If I have a lookup dropdown with: -select- food drink If I choose 'food' and click submit then I want to have food as default (for adding new record). The same if I choose 'drink'.
