new form field doesn't appear as a column in views
I hope someone from support can can help. Using the new builder, I added a new email field to my form. I want this to appear in all my views. It appears in one view but not in any of the others, even though I went through each view to make sure the new field has added (through column properties). Everything checks out fine, even using the old builder. I'm not sure what's going on. I've already provided support access to the application. Thanks very much for your help.
Decisiion Box Values
Hi all, Am a complete beginner to Zoho Creator. I would like to make a form that has a persons name and then a list of Decision Boxes: Item1 Item2 Item3 Item4 Item5 Each Itemx has a value. Depending on what boxes have been checked a total should be displayed I can set the form up with no problems but I cannot figure out how to display the total How can I go about doing this? Performance issues possibly related to GApps integration
I am wondering if any users of large applications are seeing performance issues in Creator, possibly related to integration with Google Apps for Business. We have a large application (almost 2.5mb of code), and our sharing is based on groups created in Google Apps. We also import Gmail addresses and usernames into several forms. The application's owner/admin virtually never sees performance issues, and for him the application works quickly and flawlessly. But normal users constantly contend with

Two Major Issues/Bugs
Hi, I'm facing two sensitive problem in the application. 1. Application is very slow when subform contains around 50 Records. I have 1 Parent form record, which have 210 records in subform. It is fetching 210 records out of 400 records when i click on edit. It is taking around 3 - 4 minutes to open when i click on edit. (I'm using 2Mbps Speed net) Now per month i have to enter some 1500 records into that subform. what if that has to fetch from 10,000 or 20,000

I am trying to create a chart of information in my database and when I select 'new view' only 5 options appear and the 'chart view' is missing. Is there a reason for this? or how do I enable my database to make charts for example how many people take part in project x would be what I would want to display in the chart. Thanks!

Is Zoho suitable for a database like this?
I'd like to build a hosted database solution that will be website accessible with users logging in to provide tips and/or comments on previous tips. Users will also be able to vote up or down previously left tips. Online searches will be based on a couple of fields in the tips and will be ranked based on the votes up and down. Multiple fields which update a single attribute
I am building a form for users to update ordering data that has already been entered, for invoicing. There are a number of miscellaneous items that can be added to an order, with associated prices. There is no limit to the number of miscellaneous items that can be attached to an order (equally, there might be none). Record level access control by group is not supported by default, and I am looking for any way to achieve it by combining various features of ZC. Invoice Payment Subform
Is it possible to use subforms to create a invoice payment form. I am trying to import invoice details to a form with information about the invoice (e.g. invoice #, invoice amount, invoice due date) and then create a form where the user can enter select an account and view the invoices that need to be paid. HELP!!! I need a simple, minimally secure username/password function to protect access to one of my view pages. So I am trying to hide the input text for a password in a form so that it looks like this: I cannot do it from within an HTML view because the limit on javascript in ZOHO creator prohibits me from submitting (as far as I can tell at least - please let me know if this is wrong because I'm an html noob). Security Groups in Deluge

Webhook to an existing Creator list
I have a list of customers in creator which was imported from CRM data. A decision has now been made to update our CRM subscription to allow webhooks, while it's straight forward on how to set the functionality up am I going to be left with duplication of customers once the webhook starts exporting i.e. when the data imports to creator will it recognize the existing customer name and update data rather than creating a new record?
Alert box size
This isn't a major issue but I have found the size of the alert box to be inconsistent. I've taken a screenshot of one my alert boxes with the text removed. I show the alert when the user modifies a field. The first time I see the alert, it is a long slim box. When I close the alert box and change the field again, I see the alert box but much wider. The second layout is much more preferable. Is there a way for Zoho Creator to show consistent alert boxes that match the second screenshot?

Hi, I essentially want to have just one form, and then have a multi-select which allows me to choose 1 of 3 options, and based on which of the three is chosen that determines which view the item goes to. For example, if i wanted to manage inventory i could have 3 choices: active, new arrival, coming soon So when I enter a new item coming soon i would select 'coming soon' and it would be displayed under the coming soon view', once the product is available i could edit the record to 'new arrival'

Hiding and showing fields for groups
I have a field in my form that I would like to show just to members of one group (which I have created) and the admin user. I know how to hide the field from everyone other than admin, but is there a way to then show it to a particular group, if necessary by iterating through its members?
