Microsoft Office Plugin: "Error occured while getting files from zoho"
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Microsoft Office 2010 I installed the Zoho Microsoft Office plugin and I can sign-in successfully in the right-hand pane, but when I open the Zoho tab the buttons "From Zoho", "Save" and "Save-As" all produce the same error message: "Error occured while getting files from zoho". The same error occurs in both Word and Excel. I found a few other forum posts with the same issues but none with solutions.

Cannot save button poition
I have inserted a number of buttons in my spreadsheets. When I insert / delete rows I have to move buttons into the correct position. However, no matter how many times I do this, the new position is not saved and on reopening all buttons are in the old position. Hans
Viewing PDF files uploaded to Zoho Docs
Hi, just realised that I can't view PDF files that I've uploaded, I only have the option to download to view in an external reader. It's been a while since I've uploaded PDF files to Docs and I'm sure that I used to be able to view them online. Has anything changed? Also noticed that Google Docs that I open using the built in link to Google Drive can't be opened either. And when I download them it's in a format that my computer doesn't recognise. Are there no viewers for these two formats? Thanks

Create workspace
Hi, The question may sound very stupid but how do I creat a workspace? The FAQ indicates to "Click 'New' button from the top left side panel and select 'Workspace' option from the drop-down menu"... but there is no "New" button. And contrary to the pic that comes with the FAQ, I've no "Workspace" field listed below the "Share with Me" field in the left panel. I'm on the free plan, is it a limitation of this plan, not to be able to create any workspace? If yes, how can I share a folder structure ?
Docs Sync on Linux
I've installed the x64 package of the Docs Sync app on Kubuntu 12.04 LTS. It work fine with one exception. Every time I logon to the computer I get the following message. Oops! Zoho Docs cannot process "/home/USER/Documents/-session" Once I click OK Zoho Docs Sync seem to work fine. Any input on this?

Zoho Desktop Sync puts all files in the "root" folder
Hello, I'm trying out workspaces in Zoho docs and also the sync application. In the webinterface It's all good to have the "All Files" as an option but in the Synced folder I get all files in the "Root folder" (IE X:\user\xxx.xxx\Zoho Docs\) and also the Worksapces folder and under that the files is in the right places. I don't want to have all files once again under the root folder, can I change that? Kind Regards, Noid

Unable to assign a task to myself in Docs...
I was working on a document, and could not finish updating everything I needed when I closed the Doc. I started to leave a "comment" for myself to remember what I needed to update, and then remembered I could assign a task to a doc... Unfortunately, when I try I get a message that says I cannot assign task to myself... I believe I was able to do this in the past, but I could be incorrect. Why can I not assign a task to myself on a doc? I want to setup times to get back to things for specific documents,

Zoho Docs Sync
I have a Docs standard account with 250GB of storage. However, I am trying to sync some folders and I continue to receive failures on certain file types. I am using ZD as a backup for many of my home and family files, and I thankfully had a different copy on a portable storage disk that I made or I would have lost my son's Minecraft server files. What are the limitations for file types?

Folders Versus WorkSpaces (and moving docs in-between)
I have documents in both folders and workspaces. I have been able to move documents (or what appears to be access / a copy of them) into a workspace, but recently I was consolidating a number of docs and uploaded them right into workspaces. After doing that, I cannot move them into folders, and I cannot see them with the mobile app... So, here is the question. The workspace feels more temporary wham a folder. Student Portfolio and Writer
I am in the process of trying to upload a final project portfolio for my Novel Writing class. I was told in order to be viewed, I needed to set permissions to public. I have tried to maneuver my way through Zoho and am still having trouble. I have created the project in Documents and need to make it visible to my class. When they click on the link I have provided, it comes up in a text format. Would anybody have any advice as to what I am missing here? If this is an easy mistake, all the better.

I have invited a User to my organization from one of my Client's. However on clicking to accept the invitation and setting log-in password, they receive the message: "You don't have permission to access Zoho Docs" Any thoughts as to how I can resolve? Thanks
Proxy settings for Zoho Docs sync program: how to specify a .pac script file to be used ?
Hello, the proxy configuration to be used in my company is a reference (URL) to a .pac script file. This means Internet Explorer settings is "use script" (second option) and the reference to the script, starting with http://. How should I configure Zoho Docs sync proxy parameters to make it work. I tried all 3 options, including "automatice", but II keep getting a "could not connect" message. What should I do ? Thanks in advance for the help.

i have uploaded a bunch of files to embed in my web, but the "make public" option in Zoho docs is suddenly not available...? right click/properties/ no option to generate web snippet..... What am i doing wrong?

I just want to first say Zoho is an EXCELLENT online document management system. I initially tried it for free and then as I became more familiar with how Zoho docs work I purchased the yearly subscription for the upgrade version and overall I am very happy. It is a very reasonable cost given the capabilities/convenience. Zoho Documents/Writer Offline still not working
Hi There, I am testing a paid version of Zoho Docs and set up Desktop Sync on my Mac which works great. When I go offline I can open any MS Word docs which synced and edit them fine, but cannot edit .zdoc files offline and it opens my browser (Google Chrome) and just says I cannot edit because I am offline. I have also tried Safari and Firefox as my default browsers and all show the same problem, is there a work around here? How do I edit .zdocs offline? thanks,

why are documents not visible for email attachement
My documents structure and document list in the documents tab is different from the zoho docs that the email attachement seems to be looking at. Why is that? In other words how to I access a document that I have stored in the zoho to my email if I don't see it in the list of possible attachements. Why is the folders structure different
Desktop Sync (Mac) Duplicate Files
Hello, we are setting up our Z-Docs account. I downloaded the desktop sync tool and have linked it to a workspace to share docs company wide. The idea is to sync files on my computer with files on the workspace. The same idea for other colleagues. But somehow the sync duplicates files on my computer. I've copied files in the workspace folder on my computer, so they can get uploaded, but they are duplicated now, and also sitting in the "Zoho Docs" (root) folder on my computer. What am I doing wrong.
Time zone issue
Good evening!! =) There's what I believe to be a bug where we have our files listed on Zoho Docs. Instead of presenting the time when the file was actually created or mpodifies, another time zone is presented. For instance, I've just made a change in a file (at 17h27 - my time). I don't know how it happened, but I now have 186 versions of a document! I would like to see version number (1) with the differences, but when I go to the document versions pane on the right side of the screen, I can't seem to scroll down to the version 1. (I get the last 20 versions of the 186. Where can I get the prior versions?) How can I do that? Jim

Sync between Zoho and DropBox broken ?
Guys, When releasing the Zoho Docs for Desktop application, did you by any chance also broke the sync between Zoho and Drop Box ?? Until 1~2 days, everything was working perfectly. Now when I modify a synced file directly in Zoho, it is not automatically updated in drop box. No matter how long I wait. I removed and reconfigure the sync option just in case - the 1st sync works fine, but then when remodifying a file it does not get updated in Dropbox folder. The opposite works however i.e. updating
