Zoho Apps for iDevices
The Zoho Docs app is a great app, but I think many can agree that it lacks a rather desired functionality: the ability to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Also, I've proposed this idea before but it can be reinforced here: integrating Zoho notebook with Zoho docs that notebooks can be organized along with these files - this would give an outstanding advantage to the (suite) app users. This mobile capability will give business and college users alike an unsurpassed cloud
Adding/Assigning Tags
I'm following the directions to add/assign tags to documents, but they are not showing up in the tag category that I have assigned them on the left side of the screen. What I'm doing is selecting the check mark box of the file I wish to tag. I then choose the tag that I wish to assign from the drop down menu. But when I click on that tag category on the left side of the screen, the document does not appear. I would really appreciate help on this. Thanks.
We are having lots of problems saving on documents created in Zoho.
We are working on documents that were created in Zoho and when it comes time to save, after a short or long time, the changes are not being reflected in the document and a lot of work is being lost and then repeated. This is happening from a variety of computers, different times of day etc. Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

How to Alphabetize Docs?
I would like to start using Zoho Docs for my sales employees with all of our marketing material, applications etc. I started creating folders in my Personnel Folder and also in Workspace. But there listed in the same way as I created the folder. I cant find away to alphabetize the folders. Mapping Zoho Docs Folder as Local Network Drive
Does anyone know how to map a drive to a Zoho Docs directory. I.e. i have a folder called "data" and I want to map a drive on my PC that goes to that folder I.e. I: drive. This will enable me to use the folder just like a normal drive on my PC. Thanks

Why won't ZOHO Docs allow me to invite three of my group to the Workspace?
I have added 16 people to the Workspace. Three people have joined Zoho but the system will not allow them to be added to the Workspace. Any ideas? Thanks.
Check-in/Check-out Option Not Apearing for Workspace Files
When I create a new file and add it to a workspace, I should be able to right click on the file in the workspace and select Check-In/Check-Out; however, this is not the case. The only time I've been able to get the Check-In/Check-Out menu item to appear is when I have uploaded a file (as opposed to creating a new online file). Is this the expected behavior? Check in/out when only one user account shared by multiple users
We have our account setup simply with one username and password that we share with our users who are not very tech savvy and won't created their own account. I need to have each one of them log in to edit a document. I tried using the check out feature and then logged in via a different browser and it also let's me edit the document at the same time. Is there a way to make it so only one person can edit the file even though we all log in using the same info? thanks Justin

Searching Zoho docs with the Ning app
Hi! I'd like to start using Zoho docs to manage recipe collections in my foodie Ning forum, and search them for particular ingredients. But the Ning app seems to ONLY search the title of the document - not the contents, tags, etc. Am I doing something wrong? Or, is this something that could be added as a feature...? If it searched the contents it would be totally perfect for my purpose.
Does the free version let multiple users edit document?
I'm using the free version of Zoho Docs. I want multiple users to be able to edit a docuemnt just like you would in Google Docs. Is this possible or do I have to pay to upgrade?
Downloading documents with folders and tags ?
Hello, I would like to use Zoho docs for backing up my data, but I'm disappointed that the download option (making a ZIP of all files) does not allow saving the folders structure nor the metadata (tags) attached to the documents. Indeed, I would like to make a monthly personal backup on CD, but without losing such data. Are these functionalities candidate for a future release of Zoho docs ? Thank you for your work, Mikael

Before there were two PDF Rader options, The built-in Zoho PDF Reader and the computer default, I had opened them in in-browser Acrobat Reader to read the. It was so convenient. Hi, apparently i reached a maximum depth when i tried to add more subfolders in my folders section. But i am waaaay below my usage limit. I can add folders, just not within one or two specific folders. What would be the cause of that and is it possible to remedy please? Thank you very much. I need this to work.

Hello, I've been reading these forums for the past severals day to solve one issue. In my research, I find there are other other issues and limitations to Zoho docs as discussed by others. Limitations I've experiences and read about thus far are as follows: 1. You can not upload a folder to to Zoho Docs, let alone multiple folders. 2. Please Help! Zoho Docs Won't Allow Document Uploads. The Error Message "Special Characters" Pops Ups
I've attempted to upload and drag/drop Word documents - .doc and .docx - as well as .txt; none will progress. My guess is the special characters referred to are tables, lines, special fonts, etc. The documents are résumés; therefore, I need those items to stay. Is there anyway to get around this or can I simply not upload these documents? Thanks in advance.
Documents not visible on dashboard
Hi, since this morning no documents are visible on my session with Zohodocs??? The left side with my files is ok, but when clicking ou double clicking on them nothing is visible. I work with Firefox 3.6 and have just cleared my cookies and cache... I need to visualize some of the documents I keep with you, so please help!!!! Syncing like Dropbox or Box.net
I'm sure the Zoho team already plans on creating an app of some sort that will keep Zoho Docs synced with a local folder since Dropbox, Box.net, sugarsync, zumodrive, and syncplicity all have this and ZohoDocs seems to be an imitation of thos services. I did read, however that they first plan to implement WebDav access. Does anybody know of a good program to keep a local folder synced with a WebDav one? There are so many out there, and I'm not sure which one I'd go with.
Workspace "Show Difference" Not Working
I am editing a text document, shared to me in a workspace. I click "review", then "history" to see the revisions. So far so good. When I select 2 versions, then "Show Diff", nothing happens. It remains on the latest version. Thanks for your help.
Document upload emails
How can I change settings so that I don't get an email everytime one of my users uploads a file? It is far too many emails!!! I can't find an option for this anywhere.

Local machine synchronisation all Docs files as Dropbox, zoho for real professional projects.
I really like zoho, I do very little duplicate documents and files stored in a Dropbox, I'd moved my project into Zoho and support you financially, it has prevented me from doing a major thing. I need to have a dropbox using documents stored as online and offline (or rather the locálním disk) is automatically and continuously synchronized. You have just Goggle docs documents and without the support of Windows 7, I need all types of files (except prohibited *. exe). My project has 30 GB of my documents

Microsoft Office Integration
Ok, here's something that would be EXTREMELY useful. My life would be made so much easier if there was a way for Zoho to program an extension for Microsoft Office applications. As it is right now I have to save a file from a MS office application to my computer. Then I log in to Zoho and upload the file. If I want to change the file I need to use my browser to get to Zoho, download it, open it with MS office, save a local copy, and then upload it to Zoho again. What would be absolutely fantastic
Excel upload
I just downloaded Zoho today to use for some spreadsheets in our company. Currently they are shared on MS Excel. After uploaded one of the files to Zoho, it just tells me "unable to open xls file" I can't find a resolution or error code.

Pivot Table from ods files
Hi, have just imported an ods spreadsheet with pivot tables and chart into Zoho. The pivot sheets displayed but don't update when data are changed in the source table. Also did not find anywhere how the piovot table and charts could be edited. Unable to delete files in Groups...
Having trouble deleting files from groups, it won't even let me check the box next to the file so that I can delete them--it's getting crowded in there....help?
Folders in Groups?
Is it possible to create folders for files within Groups? I have all of these files and would like to organize them but have been unable to figure out how to do it--I can do it fine in Docs, but when i transfer the files over to Groups there seems to be no way to put them into folders...is it even possible? I cannot see the "embed in webpage" option
I uploaded an .xls document and I cannot see the "embed in webpage" option in the toolbar but I do see this option in other documents (also .xls) that I uploaded. The documents that show the option do not have the .xls extension when shown in My Folders. The Icon for this document also looks different from the others as does not have a "pencil" diagonally across the spreadsheet icon. What am I doing wrong with this document?
