Sorting indicator can qualify further

Feed says 'Successfully uploaded file'. But when I click on it it does not reach the file
I just uploaded a file to my Zoho docs. No sooner did I upload it than I got a feed notification about the successful upload of the file. But the downside is that when I click on the file it does not reach the appropriate folder but just halts at docs.zoho.com dashboard. Clear Recent Files List
Zoho Docs Team, Is there a 'Clear Recent Files' list? Even in Windows I normally keep clearing the MRU list and love to navigate directly to the files only. Revisions button keeps disappearing
I can't get the revision button to load right in IE8 or Google Chrome. I click on Download, and the revision button/tab on the document is there briefly then it disappears. That is really weird... Is it a Javascript error on my browsers' end or something else?
List of songs without redundancy
I want to create a short form where users can each add 5 of their favorite songs (name of song, artist, album optional) but if a song has already been added to the database, it will warn the user to choose another song. Also, it will be interesting for the users to be able to see the current list of songs on a spreadsheet based on other users' entries. Is this possible on Zoho? I know that I can create a simple form on GoogleDocs with the results showing on a spreadsheet but it doesn't seem to alert

Hey, i uploaded a .wmv file in my new workspace, properly, but when i try to download, it says Download in Progress, Please wait... but nothing happens after it. I already tried to download from different locations. All other downloads (e.g. .doc or .pdf) work great. Any ideas?
Adding a note / message / description to a shared file?
Hi there, Is there a way where we can add some sort of a text description to a shared file? This would make it helpful so that when we share a file we can explain why we are sharing it and add any other relevant information. I thought a work around might be a 'review' but it seems the admin can't add a review? Thanks, Kyle

Unable to import content
Hi, I have been having trouble with editing the doc, xls and ppt files. The server returns a 500 Internal Server error with error message "Unable to import content". This same unmodified code worked until two weeks back. I have been having this problem with zoho where the service works sometimes and does not some times even when the code is not changed on my side. Please help. Ram
Group email notification
Is there a way to have all members of a group notified when anyone updates a shared document (especially sheets)? I can see how to notify the owner, but not the other members. We're trying to use a shared sheet for tracking work items, etc., but we need to let everyone know (via email) that the list has been updated so they know to check it again. Thanks, Mark K

We are thinking of using Zoho Writer for a different purpose then most people. A captionist is using Dragon NaturallySpeaking (DNS) to create REAL-TIME caption, i.e., the captionist can have DNS ouputs to a browser (which happened to be using ZohoWriter). Using the internet, others can see the caption. If the captionist has all the email addresses of the readers, he/she can transmit the caption in REAL-TIME. It is about 1-2 seconds delay, the time from DNS outputs to when the viewers see the caption

I am just beginning to use Zoho and I am a little uncertain as to how I get my kids to collaborate on a document. For example, a student types an essay in Zoho and then saves. He clicks to share his document. Is the next step to enter the e-mail address of the students with whom he is sharing? Our district has policies that do not allow students to use e-mail while in school. Is there a way to bypass this feature, if they are required to access the shard document from the e-mail account? Differences in files imported as DOC and ODT Part 1
Greetings: When you import a ODT document with image frames Zoho strips the frames, wherein such frames are maintained in DOC files. I upgraded to business edition but everything seems the same. What's different? The comparison chart says Groups and Admin Console but they were available before. I'm confused. I just really need to share folders of documents with our Organization Group so they can email from Zoho CRM.

Search index out of date
Only some of my documents are being found in a full content search. The indexes do not appear to be updating. Is there a way I can trigger an update of the indexes?

The explorer view in Docs should include check-in/out status and current revision.
Deleting Docs that are checked out.
When you attempt to delete a document that is checked-out, the document disappears from the explorer view, then re-appears. Deleting checked out documents is probably not desired behavior, but Docs should give an error instead of continuing as if the deletion succeeded.
Unable to delete files when you navigate to a workspace
If I navigate to a workspace, I am unable to delete a document from that workspace. If I navigate to "All Documents", I can delete the document that I wanted to delete while in the Workspace-Explorer view.

We use zoho with our domain (tubus.cn), and have 14 paid for users. In addtion we just purchased zoho docs business edition for 8 users; not all the 14 zoho business users need access to the full version of zoho docs. How to I select the 8 Zoho docs business users from the 14 domain users? In the admin console all 14 zoho business users are listed. Eagerly awaiting your answer.
URGENT adding contacts
Hi, I've set up groups, workspaces,, created documents, etc - great fun! Where I really struggle is inviting people. Whenever I send an invite for workspace, I get the message that it is not a valid email or ZohoID. How do I need to go about this? The documents and workspaces I have set up need to be shared with various people (that's why I signed up for Zoho)! They cannot just be sent? Contacts need to register first to be able to work on documents? in workspaces? Please reply urgently; Thank you.

best use of users, workspaces, groups
Hi, I have 5 people who need to collaborate on 7 documents. Not all people work on all documents, usually only 1 - 3 people per document. I have set up workspaces for the 7 documents (one each) and have asked the 5 people to each register for a free account so that I can invite them as User to the various workspaces. Is this the best way of doing things? Or should I have just created a group, invite them to participate and only then invite them to the workplace? Am a little lost/confused about how
Storage details
I have set up 2 folders, 7 workspaces and 8 documents, however used space still reads 0 bytes. Is the counter not working (correctly) or are my documents not being saved?
Search result not works again
90% files i created can't be searched in search result. eg: i created a file named "1687-DW" in zoho write, and i saved. I can see the file when i click the folder in zoho doc. But when i search it in search bar "1687-DW", it shows: No Results found for "1687-DW". Why? I can find the file named "280097-DE" which i created on Mar.02 with the same way, just can't search it. Any body could help me and fix it? Thank you.
