Let's follow in Outlook and Google's footsteps
Who would like to see the CRM calendar function closer to Google and Outlook calendars. For example, when you schedule a meeting from 8am to 12pm, have it actually take up that space on the day and not visually reflect a 1 hour meeting. Have the week view look like every other calendar and show each day in columns next to each other. Etc.
Lock Lead/Contact/Potential while editing records
I have seen this idea mentioned for creator and think it need to be in CRM aswel. "If someone is editing infomation in a record have a lock symbol on views and record, (lead/contact/potential) to symbolise record is locked and editable while locked"

Google Apps Configure Email
Hi, I have set up the google apps. I am now in Zoho CRM, Zoho CRM for Google Apps and Configure Google Email. The form has my email address pre populated and is asking me for my Gmail Password. When ever I enter my password the pop up says USERNAME_NOT_SET . I have two stage security set up on my Gmail account is this the problem?
Outlook plug in for all accounts?
Hi folks, I am trialling the Outlook 2010 plugin for Zoho CRM. In Outlook I have several different mail accounts from which I send emails to contacts.I have these all under the same profile so that I can read multiple inboxes without having to exit and restart Outlook. Is it possible to have the Outlook Zoho plug in work on more than just one email account?

Hi, I've been using Zoho for quite a while now and I must say it really helps me be on top of all my leads. However, one small thing that really annoys me that I think could be fixed easily. Whenever I go through my leads and click into them, then click the back button it takes me to the top of the page rather that the place I was up to. I then have to scroll down again and look for where I was up to. Is there any way to change that? Thanks in advance, Sal
Mal formed XML Response when inserting Accounts with option &duplicateCheck=(1)&version=4
Hi, when I'm inserting multiple records in accounts with the option "&duplicateCheck=(1)&version=4" sometimes I receive a wrongly formed xml which is missing a starting tag , the example where the starting <row no="97"> is missing. I'm using the duplicate option because the multiple insert is not returning the response which will provide enough information to map the request and response which is crucial in my case. With Mal formed response i have even more problems... any advice ? regards Tomaz

By looking for a specific contact and going on his profile you can easily see the history of the Zoho campaigns and see if you sent him an email. BUT this takes time, you must do it one by one... Mapping dependency fields on "edit" mode.
I've realized that if I create a dependency mapping, it will only work when creating a record. But, what about when I want to edit one? Is this possible or it's just an error?

I need to create some reports to pull out records that have NOT been called as yet, basically any records that have NO notes in them, i do not use the call section at all, how would I create this. Are emails going through?
I have sent a number of individual emails to leads from within Zoho CRM. Each email uses my email address. There are a few emails that I believe are wrong but went ahead and sent anyway and never received a notice that they are wrong like you would get if you emailed from your email program. I then did completely wrong email from my domain to confirm they are not coming back. My question then is how do I know if any of these emails actually made it to the lead? Shawn
Exporting zCRM Audit Log creates a .do file extension instead of a .csv.
Anyone else having this happen? ...why did we change the CSV? Can I get a CSV file again...when I do a rename and change the file extension to .csv it just doesn't come out as good as before. Don't fix it if its not broken. Thanks, Jayson
What is error code 4820 and why response with this error code has content-type text/html?
Hello, We noticed a new error code that ZohoCRM API returns some times: 4820. None of the documentation explains this code. How do I view support requests for an account?
I've linked Zoho Support and Zoho CRM. In Support, I've added an Account field to the request. All our requests are per account. When looking at an Account in CRM, I want to see all their support requests as a list. This seems to me to be the most obvious thing most people would need from linking crm and support. Got a problem with vTiger CRM v6.0 with workflow
Hello, I want to adding a new product group of fields to be displayed depending on the selected category. For example: If you assign them to the product category "cars" I want to also display a group of fields "car accessories" and if I choose the category "motorcycles" I do not want to see a group of fields "car accessories" only the fields with the parameters of the motorcycle engine. I would like to embed a report which acts as as a price list in CRM into our website so the changes are reflected as they are made into one large price List on our website. Effective Way to Add Shipping in Quotes
I may be missing something, but is there a way to include a Shipping Quote that totals into the overall amount of the order? Is the best option simply to create a Shipping Product, so to speak?
CRM email template - using accounts contact name.
If sending an email from a record in accounts , using a email template, is there by default object fields to call the accounts contact name and use it in the email template? I tried standard {Leads.Lead Name} and it doesn't work, only displays the code in the actual email. Thanks in advance

Hi, As I understand, the typical flow of creating an invoice is Sales Order => Invoice. The computation of tax etc is done based on the products, volumes, prices and taxes in Sales Order. In the Invoice, isn't it obvious that all taxes should be listed in details - individual items? For example, in India we have a concept of "Service Tax" / "VAT", "Education Cess" etc. I am able to add these as custom fields in the product. Billing Address does not populate
I noticed that when i'm entering a new company (account) into the zoho mobile crm app, all of the information i enter is being saved except for the "Billing Address". Search limit and tips and tricks
So I have a lot of subscriptions that I use Zoho and Authorize.net to keep track of. This involves looking up a contact whenever Authorize.net charges them. Today, I found out the hard way that Zoho only allows me to lookup 250 records per day (even though I can update upwards of thousands?). Problems with inserting/updating Leads with CRM API
I'm trying to update and insert Leads using the CRM API and I sometimes get the following error: <response><error><code>4600</code><message>Unable to process your request. Please verify if the name and value is appropriate for the "xmlData" parameter.</message></error></response> My problem is that sometimes everything works fine and sometimes I get this error, but I'm struggling to see any difference between 'good' XML and 'bad' XML. Organization? setup / cross app integration
Hi everyone, I'm new to Zoho and 1 day in and I'm completely baffled. My small company is looking to use Zoho for: CRM, Books, and Invoice. My confusion stems from each app asking for my company information and I can't seem to find a way to setup a company umbrella and then access the apps within that organization. Is that how it's suppose to work? Once i've accessed each app they don't seem to play well with each other, I can't use the accounts I create in CRM to send invoices to through Invoice
Map Dependency on Webform ? Possible?
I can't seem to make it work. I have created webforms previously with no problems. This time I'm trying to make a pick list webform that has dependencies. I've mapped the dependencies correctly in the customization section, but putting this into a webform the dependencies don't work at all. Anyone from Zoho confirms this is possible or not possible?
