5 easy ways to manage tasks


Did you know that there are quicker ways to manage tasks in Zoho Projects?

Here are 5 ideas to quickly manage tasks.

1. Quickly add tasks:
Here are two options to quickly add tasks to your projects:
  1. Hover over a task to view the gear icon on the left and select the option to create a new task above or below it.
  2. Hover over the task list to enable the Add Task button.


2. Reorder tasks:
In the task classic view, hover over a task to view the reorder icon. Click on it and drag and drop the task to its new position. Tasks can also be moved between task lists in the same manner.


3. Convert a task to a task list:
For a parent task with nested subtasks, hover over a task and click the gear icon on the left. Select Make this a Task List.


4. Create a template from a task list:
Repurposean existing task list and use it in a new project. All the tasks within the task list will be copied to the template. Hover over a task list and click the gear icon. Select Make as Template.


5. Chart view:
Gather insights on your tasks from the chart view. Hover over a task and click the gear icon. Select Chart view.
