Most of the admin tasks for HR (at least the way we do it) are employee-focused. When information needs to be input or obtained for an employee, the obvious way to get it is to look it up by the employee.
Unfortunately, Zoho People doesn't make this very easy. As an admin, information for any particular employee is scattered everywhere and difficult to find.
Fortunately, there is a solution pretty much already completely developed!
The Self-Service view is extremely useful, with most information associated with the employee easily accessible. This kind of view should be available for managers and HR administrators for the employees they serve!
The inability to see all of this data in one place for a given employee is extraordinarily limiting for a manager or administrator, and it defeats the main purpose of having HR software.
Once implemented, I would place a pretty hefty wager that this would be the main way that managers and administrators interact with the software.
