After adding a new issue template and layout, project issues become disabled.

This is a real problems for me right now.
I was setting up a new project type for managing our Zoho migration.
I created a new issues layout for the project (zohobugs). This was based on the standard layout.
As soon as I did that, the project's issues tag became unresponsive. Clicking on it results in no activity. The mobile project app reports the issues are still in the project, but trying to access any issue results in an error.
In addition, it is impossible to review the standard issue layout or the newly created zohobugs layout.
Anyone had a similar issue - and if so, how do I get this fixed?
