Allow attendees to edit the calendar?

Can I allow the attendees of an event to edit the calendar? Sometimes people cannot attend on a certain date. Could that person modify or create another event? I want to find a way where people can sort themselves out.

Is this possible or do I have to give each person my username and password?

Can I show all the various attendees the calendar so that they know what is coming up?
