Allow editing of invoiced estimate

Allow editing of invoiced estimate

Hello,
I contact you because you change recently a functionnality and it is very annoying for us and for other services companies that are using zoho invoice.

IN 2018, you added the feature - 1. Allow editing of invoiced estimate (see below)
A Few weeks ago you replaced this feature by a new one -  2. Allow editing of accepted estimate (see below)

This change is non-sense.
let me clarify my position :
1.  Allow editing of invoiced estimate - If I do not activate this option, it means a sales can not edit an estimate as from the moment the estimate is invoiced. (this is well the moment a company must block an estimate to avoid errors or billing oblivision - permission to modify  the estimates after invoicing is a source of error in the majority of the companies : the sales modify the estimate because he needs to add an option for example and this is never invoiced to the client. )
2.  Allow editing of accepted estimate (see below) - If I do not activate the option, it means a sales can not edit an estimate as from the moment the estimate is set as accepted. BUT, you know as well as me that an estimate is likely to evolve during the  preparation of a service, ....the client gives a PO number that a sales has to add on the offer, or the client add an option and the sales must add the option on the estimate...

For a company, modifying an estimate before it has been invoiced is not a problem.
- but if we can't modify an invoice after it is set on accepted, this induce a lot of manipulation (closing the first estimate, creating a new one, wrong stats....)
- and letting people modify an estimate whenever they want is source of error.

If you really want to keep this new feature... please keep both so that your zoho customer can choose between both... It will be very kind of you to settle this problem (as you already developed this it won't take a lot of time to re-implement it)

Tks a lot for you patient and understanding. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have other questions...
