Announcing new features in Trident for macOS (v.1.7.0)

Hello everyone!

Trident for macOS (v.1.7.0) is here with new features to elevate your workplace communication and productivity. Let's take a quick look at them.

Customize incoming chat and call notifications.  

You can now customize your notification sounds for incoming chats and calls. With these options, you can assign unique sounds to each type of notification so you can instantly know what kind of message you just received.

Note: For the custom notification tones to take effect on macOS devices, you must restart your iMac or MacBook. This is due to inherent limitations in macOS.

Leave irrelevant group chats. 

Whether you're looking to declutter your chats or exit conversations that are no longer relevant to you, the Leave Group option has now got you covered.



Experience smart flow of WorkDrive widget files.  

You can now attach files from the WorkDrive widget to your emails using a simple drag-and-drop mechanism instead of having to download them locally and then upload them to the Mail Composer.



Furthermore, you can now drag and drop files from the WorkDrive widget to your Mac device to easily download
them.



These new use cases of Smart Flow enable you to bypass clicks, navigation, and waiting times, ensuring a smarter way to share files.

View event details on hover 

Without having to click and open an event, you can now simply hover over an event in your calendar to see key details such as the title and time. Additionally, you can easily join and initiate meetings directly from the hover view of the event details. This new feature saves you time and makes managing your schedule more efficient.
Edit criteria pattern in email filters.

While creating filters with advanced conditions, the criteria pattern decides the order in which the advanced conditions are processed. In this update, we've now provided the option to edit the criteria pattern manually.



To leverage these new features in Trident, update the app to the latest version by following the steps below:

  1. Open Trident.

  2. In the system menu bar, click Trident.

  3. Select Check for Updates from the menu list.
