Announcing Zoho Campaigns' integration with Zapier

We're elated to announce that Zoho Campaigns integrates with Zapier to help you customize and automate various email marketing process.

Zapier is a platform that allows you to connect important business apps and create automated workflows. With the Zoho Campaigns - Zapier integration, you can run your email marketing in tandem with other platforms, create a path for data flow, and save time.

A bit more about Zapier:

In Zapier, everything is centred around smart workflows called Zaps. To create a Zap, you'll have to define a trigger and the action after the trigger. Once the trigger condition is met, the specified action will automatically take place.

For example, if users register for your event via an event management platform (trigger), you can bring in the details of those users to a mailing list inside Zoho Campaigns (action). You'll have to bind these two steps by creating a Zap.

How does the Zoho Campaigns - Zapier integration work?

 This is how:

You can either associate a trigger with Zoho Campaigns or define an action.

Triggers:

You can set three trigger conditions in Zoho Campaigns, and those are:

1. New Campaign

This trigger comes into play when a campaign is sent, reviewed, stopped, cancelled, paused, and also upon the completion of A/B test.

 2. Unsubscribe

This trigger works when a contact unsubscribes from any given mailing list or is removed from a mailing list by the administrator.

 3. New Contact

This trigger gets activated when a contact joins a mailing list.

Actions:

You can define five different actions in Zoho Campaigns. Here's the list:

1. Send Campaign

A campaign will automatically be sent to your recipients. For that, however, you must have completed all the essential steps - starting from subject line to configuring content and adding recipients to running the compliance check.

 2. Unsubscribe

A contact will be removed form a mailing list, given the condition you specify is met.

3. Add/Update Contact

Under this, either a contact is added to a mailing list or the details of an existing contact is updated.

4. Create Campaign

A campaign is created and held in the draft state with some basic steps completed.

5. Clone Campaign

A clone of an existing campaign is created.

A little something extra:

You're also provided with the option of creating an intermediate step called, 'search' between the trigger and action. If you link that step with Zoho Campaigns, you'll have the following two options:

1. Find Contact

Using this, you can expand the details of a contact in an application by checking if that contact is present inside Zoho Campaigns by any chance. If not, then s/he is added to a mailing list in Campaigns with whatever information available.

2. Find Campaign

This option comes in handy when you need to locate a campaign inside Zoho Campaigns and fetch the details of it to another platform.

Note: This integration is still in the 'early access' stage. We would like you to try it out and share your feedback with us. You can easily locate Zoho Campaigns inside Zapier using -
