Automated Dismissal of Specific Notifications and Centralized Control of Toast Notification Settings

Dear Zoho Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

We would like to request two enhancements related to notification handling within Zoho Desk:

  1. Automatic Dismissal of Specific Notifications: Currently, when certain actions are taken in the ticket list (such as closing tickets), a pop-up message (e.g., "Close initiated for 1 ticket. It will be completed in some time.") appears and remains on screen until manually dismissed.



    We would like to request that such messages be added to the "Toast Notification" category or another method be implemented so they can automatically disappear after a few seconds, similar to how success and info toast notifications behave.

  2. Centralized Admin Control of Toast Notification Settings: We also request a feature that allows administrators to manage toast notification settings for all employees across the organization in a centralized way. This would eliminate the need for each agent to manually adjust these settings, ensuring consistency and reducing the likelihood of misconfigurations.
