Be careful when asking for help from Zoho

I have put off sharing this to give Zoho time to solve the problem. 
Before christmas my team reminded me that we struggled with the integration between crm and invoices as we use both accounts (sometimes) and contacts. We work b2b and b2c.
We have discussed this on the forum and had been lead to believe that Zoho could 'sort it their end' so that we could invoice accounts or contacts.
And so on the 19th of December i contact them via chat and we discussed the matter. Not a problem i was told. Well you do not get to my age without being careful so i seeked clarity more than once with the very important question- this will not create any data lose, integration problems etc. The answer as always it seems was not a problem trust us.

We went through the steps and instantly any event in CRm that was linked to an invoice in INVOICE disappeared. Weeks of appointments vanished.

Queue panic. 
Zoho responce-
no it has not disappeared.
it will come back
let me look in to it
just to confirm that data had gone
Let me talk to the data management team
Yes it definitely has gone- sorry

I got quite cross at this stage and said i accept that perhaps the data has gone but we took all precaution and that the least they could do is credit our account 

The reply is let us look for the data again.-

What a joke. That is not data management. Do they have it or not? No it must be gone so they need to man up and say it and then learn from it.
