Calendar Event Status

I often mis appointments because the client does not show, or I get delayed and reschedule... I need the ability to look back and see what actually occurred.  In my previous CRM, we has a status of the event, similar to the Task.  Therefore it was visible on the calendar and I can track the status quickly. 

I would like the ability to have status or tags on events.

Anyone else handle this another way?
