Campaign sending privilege by segment or by list
Is there a way to allow a specific users to
only send a campaign to one/some mailing list(s) or segment(s)?
In our association project, we'll have a few thousand subscribers, with "clubs" based on geography (e.g., "Seattle," "Bay Area") and interests (e.g., "High tech," "wine tasting"). We're concerned about letting the leader of the wine club have access to all lists and segments, possibly sending by mistake to the wrong crowd, or even editing subscribers from other clubs.
Ideally, we would either edit the user and say "only allowed to do things in list L or segment S," or vice versa, edit the list or segment and say "only users U1 and U2 are allowed to send a campaign, view and/or edit the subscribers."
This would seem to be needed in a sales organization too, where a territory sales manager should only be allowed to contact his/her customers/leads.
We haven't seen any indication of this functionality, but is there a way to do that, or an intent to add this function?
