Im posting this here as i hope someone knows how to handle, as i opened a few suppport tickets with no clear response what to do.

We have some items that we have to edit the beginning balance or value on.  These are items with no associated transactions at all.  when we attempt to edit we get the error "this transaction has been reconciled, hence .........etc"

But we dont understand as we dont reconcile inventory accounts, or any of the GL accounts associated with inventory, so i have no clue what account its saying is reconciled.  

Support said to try unreconciling all my bank and clearing accounts, but that is rediculous to expect someone to unreconcile a years worth of stuff in 14 accounts just to edit an item.

We get the same error when we attempt to link an amazon or ebay item to an existing item in zoho, which also makes no sense as the items have no transactions at all.
