Client and Vendor Portal

Client and Vendor Portal

Some clients like keeping tabs on the developments and hence would like to be notified of the progress. Continuous updates can be tedious and time-consuming. Zoho Sprints has now introduced a Client and Vendor Portal where you can add client users and vendor users to your team. This allows clients and vendors to keep track of the project and respond as per requirement.

Clients - People who you work for
Vendors - People to whom a part of the work is outsourced

Katherine is working on a project that involves a lot of iterations. She prefers to include her clients directly to save time. She has also outsourced a few employees for her company’s support services. To track these, Katherine enables the client portal for her clients and vendor portal to her outsourced employees.

To enable Client/Vendor portal for your users,
  1. Go to the Setup icon on the top right corner, scroll down to All Users .
  2. Navigate to Client Users/Vendor Users .
  3. Add their company details.
  4. Enable the portal access while adding users.

You can set profile restrictions for both client and vendor users. This will help you to monitor their activities within the team.

Benefits
Users who are not inherently part of your organization, can be added to specific projects. For example, freelance workers, contract workers etc.

Once a client/vendor has been added to your team, they will have a separate login page.
