I'm sorry for my blunt statements
Client Portal i guess is a disaster in making. I had a chat with you support team before posting my thoughts here though. Client Portal seems to be a dummy app with absolutely no functionalities.
Here is a situation: Recruitment Firms share a load of resumes to clients. 1 client will hire for multiple positions and it's not a one time affair. Let' say i share a few resumes through client portal. Now the client has to either Approve or Reject those resume. Now depending on the client approval status, these candidates move further along the interview stages.
So, what happens when candidates are marked as Hired? The client would still see them as just 'Approved'. What happens when the candidates are marked as Joined? It still shows as 'Approved' in the client portal.
Now imagine this - Over a period of time this client would have say about 80+ new profiles on their portal. These would be new submittals, candidates still in the interview stages, hired candidates and joined. Now, the client can only see anyone there as 'Approved'. They wouldn't have a clue which candidate is in what stage or are they 'Hired' or 'Joined'. With so many resumes in their dashboard they feel overwhelmed. This creates more confusion & chaos
Ultimately, clients will stop using the client portal or ask us to change the software to a more meaningful one.
Maybe you are still working on the features. But why launch this portal when you don't even have THE BASICS in place? I fail to understand the intellectual abilities of your Product Team
