Conditional answer option display
Some survey software allows you to specify that only specific answer options are displayed conditional on previous selections. Use case: "select which of these items you have bought before?" Then in the next question ask "which they bought most recently." It makes sense to only show the options they have bought before in the follow up question to reduce errors.
