Copying events leads to invitations despite not sharing my calendar

Copying events leads to invitations despite not sharing my calendar

I don't share my calendar at all. But if I duplicate an event that is not shared either the calendar asks me whether I want to partake or not. This happens only after a duplication and not after simply creating an event. Is this a bug or is the error again sitting right at the computer?
