Cost of Goods Value was double due to Composite Items
Hi All,
I am running small home based manufacturing unit for Paper bag. I am facing dual account issue while create Composite items.
Can anyone share your input if you are already in manufacturing business.
- I added all Raw material, Labour and other required items into account under “cost of goods sold”
- Then I Crete a composite items. While create it added the total cost (includes material/Labour/package) in “Cost Price” section under cost of goods sold account.
Now, I added the Material/Labour/Package two times into Account. So, my cost of goods value shows double in P/L statement.
I can’t add my final product as standalone.Because the composite items reduce the quantity of raw material whenever new final product made.
