Create Custom Action Button to Display Limited Form Fields For Selected Record
Is it possible to create a custom action button on a report that will open a pop-up window (or new page) displaying limited fields for the underlying form?
I have a large underlying collection form for work projects (30+ fields). When I create reports on certain fields of that form, I'd like to be able to click on the record and be able to quickly edit some of the displayed fields, without having to scroll through the whole form. Basically, the action button should open the form for the selected record, and hide most fields except for the ones needed. I tried to accomplish with a spreadsheet report but because of the lookpup fields that type of report was not available.
