Create/Edit/Version info block or widget
I would very much like the ability to optionally show certain information near the top of each page. This might include:
Article created by: Name, Date
Last edited by: Name, Date
Version x.x
Here's the actual format I use on a different wiki platform:

This is all info that's otherwise available, I realize. The point here is to make sure readers of the page are much more aware of how current the information is, and its source,
before they even start to read it.
After all, one of the merits of a wiki is that information can be rapidly updated, so it lends itself to the dissemination of information about rapidly changing situations. In such a scenario, it's critical that users be aware when information is or is not up-to-date.
The info block could be implemented as a module similar to the current TOC, or as a widget, or even as a fixed piece of content on the page, normally CSS'ed invisible.
I would prefer it positioned at the top of the content, but below the page title. So long as it positions sensibly relative to the TOC.
With CSS we users could determine which bits of info we want visible (so I would like tags around each component).
Hope that sparks some enthusiasm for this enhancement!
