CRM - Show client folder inside Account details view
Hi,
For each account, we have a designated Google Drive folder. In this folder we store all documents related to this account. We'd like to think of ways to "bring this folder" into Zoho. The idea is not to upload/download files to Drive, but more of obtaining a holistic view of the client.
The obvious option is to utilize the "attached files" related list to show all the files in the client's respective Google Drive folder. However, I couldn't find a straightforward (and preferably simple) way of doing so.
Another option is to add a field that will hold the URL link to the respective Google Folder. This is not a bad idea, but it takes the user out of the CRM, which is something we wish to avoid. If we are sending the user outside the CRM, we would prefer to find a way to open the file explorer, instead of the folder web view. All users sync the Google Drive to their Windows machines.
I have seen many topics for similar issues, such as this one. I've also seen some extension that might solve this, such as this one.
We prefer to avoid using extensions. Due to data privacy, we prefer to use only native Zoho features for anything related to client data.
Any ideas?
