Custom buttons are a great way to really make the software adapt to the unique needs of a given business use case.

Unfortunately, their availability across modules is spotty. 

I was specifically looking for availability in the Sales Return module. I was going to add functionality to allow users to create return shipping labels.

I'm sure there are similar cases for other modules, too. Please consider rolling that feature out uniformly across all modules.
