I have configured a custom filter on my report as <multi select field> does not contain <value from options> OR <multi select field> is null. I have done this through the UI, which leads me to believe such functionality is supported. If I only select the matching criteria, or leave all options unselected, the filter works as expected. If I select multiple options, the filter no longer works and records with the filtered value selected are displayed. It is as if the criteria is actually doing all options match, not an any options match.

I've found a 5 year old post that suggests this type of criteria is not supported. It links to an article of unknown age or current applicability, that simply states "Criteria containing Multi Select field type is not supported". I have no idea which version of Creator it refers to since there is no publication date, nor is there a list of versions in the article, and since a 5 year old post is pointing to it, I'm guessing it is at least that old. And since Zoho has a poor track record of removing or updating out of date information, I don't have a lot of confidence it is current.

If the feature was not supported I wouldn't expect either of those to work. In fact, I wouldn't expect to even be able to test out the second one.

Is this feature broken? Or is it really still not supported 5 years later?
