For anyone that's used Zoho Inventory and Zoho Books together (or, honestly, used any of the Zoho Financial Suite), you know that the integration between the two is fantastic. They're essentially two sides of the same coin, and all updates in one are instantly reflected in the other, because they draw on the central Zoho Finance Suite database.
Is it in Zoho's roadmap to create similarly well-connected systems between other parts of the Zoho One suite?
CRM-Financial Suite immediately jumps to mind. Currently, the integration is achieved via two-way sync, and it's less than ideal. All the information that's synced from the Financial Suite to Zoho CRM is only viewable in a special "Zoho Finance" tab, which is totally inaccessible to CRM custom functions, workflow rules, etc. It's also not viewable in the mobile app. Other idiosyncrasies exist in the connection, e.g. product quantity doesn't sync from Inventory to CRM. What's stopping Zoho from being able to integrate CRM + Financial Suite such that data is bound together and updates + changes occur instantaneously?
CRM - MarketingHub/Campaigns is another example. We've had to build plenty of MarketingHub systems that require a complex "one-way sync from CRM, then push data back to CRM as part of a customer journey". Shouldn't the entire CRM "Leads" + "Contacts" modules just be immediately available in MarketingHub and show the exact same information as CRM?
I know I'm being a bit vague and idealistic, but the lack of these tight Zoho One integrations (especially between CRM and other apps) has kept me from selling larger, more sophisticated organizations on Zoho One.
We appreciate all your hard work, Zoho! We love the products and will continue to use and sell them even without these features. I just want to know if others have had the same thoughts.
