I'm am wanting to build an app, that is primarily based around invoices (bills sent to me). I am thinking of using Creator to capture invoices. I will use the integration to ZohoBooks for all the "accounting stuff".
What I am not sure about is Zoho Creator able to handle this workflow?
1. Create record from Invoice
2. Process the Invoice
a. Each invoice needs to have each line (the details) associated with a specific project.
b. Each invoice needs to processed so the amount of the invoice is divided up, by ownership of the project.
For example:
Invoice 123
Date: 1/1/2021
Vendor A
item 1 project A Test $50.00
item2 project B Test $100.00
Total: $150.00
Project A
Owner 1 - 50%
Owner 2 - 50%
Project B
Owner 3 - 75%
Owner 4 - 25%
After a month of these invoices (which I pay out of ZohoBooks), I need to send a report to the owners, showing what they owe, by project.
Owner 1
1/1/2021 VendorA Project A Invoice Item Details $50 50% $25
Owner 2
1/1/2021 VendorA Project A Invoice Item Details $50 50% $25
Owner 3
1/1/2021 VendorA Project B Invoice Item Details $50 75% $75
Owner 4
1/1/2021 VendorA Project B Invoice Item Details $50 25% $25
I'm thinking that when I enter in an invoice, besides sending it to Zoho Books, I would process the invoice so that I could create reports, and also build reports, based on projects.
thoughts or suggestions? Not looking for a solution, per se. Is this something creator can handle?
