Is this possible?
I want the file to save in its existing location. But not for the user to be able to save a copy etc... this is disastrous.
Is this possible?
I can see that this has been asked in various forms up to 9 years ago and as far as I can tell this functionality is still not available.
This will be causing me much headache and coding pain as I will have to make my own django, python and pandas version which is difficult.
Having a spreadsheet that users can not save as, download or move or rename, or what ever, would be very useful.
This would take an additional setting / check box, which would make all those settings greyed out and not possible. In addition, they should be able to "SAVE", ie save it to the location where they have opened it from and that is it, or it would automatically save as they made changes.
I have circled the options I would like a "protected" file not to have. They should be able to save it, but only save it where they opened it from and nothing else.
This would be a smart option if you are trying to make protected sheets and ways of where this data ends up.
I can not be the only person in recent times that has requested this. Please can you come back to me with how my request might be dooable in perhaps other ways!!
Thanks.
