Enhancing Note Functionality in Bigin

Enhancing Note Functionality in Bigin

Hey CRM Community,

I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to share a couple of ideas for improving our Bigin CRM functionality, specifically related to notes. These suggestions are an aim to make our workflow more efficient and organized.

Idea 1: "Important Tick" for Priority Notes (Like an Urgent Memo)
One of the challenges we face is ensuring that crucial information is readily accessible when we open a client's file. To address this, I propose the introduction of an "Important Tick" feature for notes. Here's how it would work:

Users can mark a note as "important" with a simple tick or star icon.
When marked as important, the note would automatically move to the top of the list, ensuring it's the first thing we see when we open a client's file.
The important status would remain until we choose to untick it, at which point it would revert to its original position in the notes list.
This feature would be incredibly useful for highlighting critical information, such as client details meetings, unresolved issues, or priority tasks.
Currently, important notes get lost down the list and important information is not seen.

Idea 2: Presaved Notes for Efficiency (Note Templates)
The second idea focuses on improving our efficiency in client interactions. Often, we find ourselves repeating certain standard actions or communication steps. To address this, I suggest the implementation of pre-saved notes. Here's how it would work:

Users can create and save preset notes for common actions or events, such as "Creditor Follow-up Done" or "Spoke to Customer, happy to Proceed" or "Welcome Email Sent."
These pre-saved notes would be easily accessible from a dropdown menu within the Notes section (or a dedicated section within the CRM.)
When selected, the pre-saved note's content would automatically populate the note field, reducing the need for manual typing and ensuring consistency in our communication.
This feature would save us time and help maintain uniformity in our interactions with clients.

I believe that both of these ideas have the potential to significantly enhance our CRM experience. They would not only make our daily tasks more efficient but also help us better manage and prioritize our client-related activities.

Please share your thoughts on these suggestions and any additional ideas or improvements you'd like to propose. If we gather a consensus that these features would be beneficial, we can hopefully have the development team agree with a view for potential implementation.

Let's work together to make our CRM system even more powerful and user-friendly.

Thank you.
Oliver.
