Tip #25- Enhancing security with confirmation prompts for remote sessions- 'Insider Insights'

Hello Zoho Assist Community! This week, we’re discussing how to enhance the performance of your remote sessions while ensuring security and transparency.

In remote support sessions, ensuring your customer’s security and consent is crucial. One effective way to maintain this is by enabling confirmation prompts for various actions. When you initiate an action, like a file transfer or screenshot, a prompt will appear on your customer’s screen asking for their consent. Here’s how you can customize these settings to enhance your support experience.

Imagine you’re helping a customer troubleshoot a technical issue on their computer. As you need to transfer diagnostic files, take screenshots, and access sensitive information, maintaining trust and transparency is essential. With confirmation prompts enabled, your customer will receive notifications and can consent to each action, ensuring they feel secure throughout the support session.

To implement this setting, navigate to Settings, select Preferences, and scroll down to Confirmation Prompt.

You have the option to activate or deactivate the prompt and modify the displayed message. By customizing these settings, you can ensure a secure, transparent, and trustworthy remote support experience for your customers.
