Events created or edited in Apple Calendar to zoho cal over ical become blank

Events created or edited in Apple Calendar to zoho cal over ical become blank

We have had this issue across multiple users and instances. Apple Calendar on ios and macOS sees all zoho calendar events but the majority of edits or new events made to Zoho Calendar using  apple apps cause all data except date/time to be lost. Events show up as unnamed and all notes/urls/invitees etc are lost.

What is the fix for this?
