Facebook friend hates ZOHO logo

Facebook friend hates ZOHO logo

I have been posting lately on FB about my experiments with Zoho.

(please do add me if you happen to be on FB)

Someone explained to me WHY they reject Zoho as follows:

.... you want to know the main reason I never fully adopted them? I will admit it: it is because of their juvenile logo. I just.can't.use.them.

To which I replied:

yes, indeed the logo is disturbing... I suppose I should give them this feedback.... I suspect that you can modify the logo on things that you send out because they allow you to create a group/corporation ... but not certain.... I will research that.. Thanks!

Apparently in a PAID VERSION of Zoho one has some flexibility but the free version does not... I shall explore further

This youtube will make you sick since it is their juvenile logo in animation

After view the above, it seems to me that there IS a way to change the Logo. I suppose one cannot blame them for wanting to provide that only to paying customers. The minimum is $3/month for a single user 15/gig (I think) and the minimum corporate is $9/month for 3 users and 15/gig.

TO WHICH THEY REPLIED:

Even if you could change the logo, it bothers me so much that it is *their* logo. I have deep reservations about a company that does such a poor job on something that visually expresses yourself to the world. Better to have no logo than what they have. That may not be fair, but a lot of people make buying / use decisions on trivial things like that, and a company that flat out ignores it is worrisome to me.

TO WHICH I REPLIED:

you are perfectly correct (and I am not trying to humor you or be patronizing.) Yes, it is a shame that they made such a blunder. I will endeavor to post a synopsis of these observations as feedback at their site.

PERSONALLY I could not care what sort of logo a Company uses as long as the software is reliable, but obviously there are people who do care, so I thought I should forward this feedback to Zoho.
