Firefox reversibility 2.0.0.7 in writer

1. If one looks at the view source in writer there is javascript code AFTER the end html tag.. is this on purpose?

2. In Firefox, if one selects a number of lines of text (with end of lines) and presses center, it centers. However pressing the Left align button only affects the first line. Internet Explorer 6 doesnt have this problem. The same behavior is seen in Google doc writer so this is likely a browser bug. Same issue for Underline (toggling). Its hard to deal with browser bugs/features but at least you can focus on the big two and make a test case or patch for FF developers to deal with.

3. Why not disable RMB browser menu in the navigation section on the left, if it can be done easily (or have your own menu as in the main editing area). If this opens other problems, dont bother (google also doesnt seem to care but then their writer is quite pathetic... eg. how they handle tables).

4. Speeding up save (upload to server) would be highly welcome. The animation is nice but each time one presses save (even if no change has been made) it takes a while (even for small docs)

5. the email attachment receive isnt working reliably or in the way people expect email to work.. I sent a small attachment yesterday and it did show up after many hours possibly.. There is also no indication of where this attachment came from (unless I missed that). This can be a very useful feature but people also have VERY strong expectations about email (gmail apparently is still in beta! although I find it absolutely indispensable and consider the gmail spam control, labels and filters to be excellent) and reliability is an absolute must here. Its also not obvious how one can change the code used for sending the email (e.g. if one distributes it to a group and then gets spammed with docs.. how to turn it off).

6. Is there a way to allow docs to be world writeable (using the url which does afford some protection)and world commentable? Your model probably requires a valid login to write but if there is a safe way to allow write access to non-users, that may be quite useful in certain contexts (as wikipedia has shown)

7. Increasing consistency in the user interface (the new, import and delete image buttons seem odd.. they dont change their appearance on mouseover and dont have the nice texty feel given that they are supposed to be text). The sample templates are in pages that have an older design it seems.

8. Given that your feature set and apps are vast, integrating apps (as you seem to be doing) and making sure they are reliable and consistent across major browsers/systems is a must. Educating users is probably very important (on how to get the most of each app).
