So, I was a Zoho Free email user since 2015. Initially when I was starting out my mail-sending ability was blocked a few times but after contacting support they made adjustments on their backend and I never had to deal with any mail sending block issues again.
Now that my old mailbox is full, I decided to upgrade to one of the Zoho paid plans and I've faced nothing but problems since then.
My experience is "Worst" at this point. Let me describe what happened
- I mailed the support team to migrate my mailbox to this new upgraded account as I was getting some error, but never got a response within a reasonable time (24-48h).
The least I was expecting that "We don't handle transfer requests".
- I went through the hassle of backing up and restoring all mail messages myself which I believe could have been easily done by your support team since it was a transfer from one zoho account to another.
- All right, now the real issue begins. My mailbox is getting blocked every now or then citing "Mail rate exceed issue"
I checked your help documents and it says there is no fixed limit, the limit is auto-determined by your systems.
I was using Zoho mail-free plan with my website for years since last week and never had to deal with these stupid limits.
But with this new Zoho account, I'm getting slapped with these nonsense limits. My mail-sending rate has not been increased in any way.
I checked my Zoho mail reports and found that about 93 emails were sent in average over the past 2 days (1st and 2nd August).
Even Gmail's free tier allows a limit of 2000 mail per day. [

I contacted Zoho support over the phone and I've been told to consider Zepto mail as a solution. Although the plans are affordable I am not really convinced to pay separately again for sending emails.
This might be okay for large corporations but for a small business, it does not look very interesting.
You do not publish your limits in public. so, I feel my emails are intentionally blocked so that I pay for your service zepto mail.
I'm seriously considering getting a REFUND
but before I do so, I wanted to make sure that you guys had a fair chance of resolving the issue.
