Hi!
We want to move the e-mail from our organization from Google Workspace to Zoho because we'll need 8 more addresses soon, and workspace is too expensive for just the e-mail function (an additional €660 a year for the 8 addresses, whereas with Zoho this would be less than €8 a year).
The issue is that for at least one of the existing accounts, we want to keep the functionality exactly like it is. So being able to send and receive from within Gmail.
When testing with another domain that we own, I made a Zoho account first, pointed the MX records to Zoho's servers, and added the DMARC, DKIM and SPF records for Zoho.
After this I made a workspace account with the same e-mail address, set the Zoho SMTP server as host in the Google Admin, and added 'include:_spf.google.com' to the SPF record.
With this, mails sent from within Gmail get a 9 with mail-tester. (With the only negatives coming from two IPv4 blacklists)
I guess that if mail-tester says it's all set-up correctly there wouldn't be any issues?
However, I don't know how to receive the mails from Zoho in Gmail. When adding the e-mail address through Gmail Settings -> Accounts -> Check mail from other accounts -> Add a mail account, it says I can't make an e-mail account for the address. (I can for other addresses under the same domain tho, just not for the address that I also made the Workspace account with)
Is there any other way that I can receive mails sent to Zoho within Gmail?
BR,
Daniel
