Instead of a pure SaaS model, we are looking for a tool that supports a combination of Hardware-as-a-Service and Saas.
Our situation is as follows: We require an up-front payment of 12 months subscription to cover the hardware costs. After 12 months we will start the monthly billing, because we no longer have any hardware costs to cover.
However, it would be possible that one or more additional orders are placed during the first 12 months of the initial order. These new orders then also require an up-front payment of 12 months subscription, to cover the hardware, after which we start the monthly billing.
So, let's say a first order was placed in January 2016 for 10 units and a second order was placed in February 2016 for 15 units. This means that in January 2017 the monthly billing will be for 10 units, but starting from February 2017 the monthly billing would be for 25 units. So, after the first 12 months of an additional order, the units should be added to the monthly billing of the initial order.
Does Zoho subscriptions support this scenario?
